A sustainable process uses natural resources at a rate that permits their natural replenishment. For too long, Mankind has been consuming the sea’s resources faster than they can be regenerated. A collective effort is required, and is virtually indispensable, to adapt man’s consumption of these resources to a level of sustainable development. This is why Icat Food, together with its suppliers, has developed a Sustainable Sourcing Policy inspired by the principles of the FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.
